Design Journey - How We Work:
We follow American Institute of Architects (AIA) Phases in the Project Delivery Process:
-
At the outset of a project, we take the time to understand the client’s unique needs and objectives, ensuring a clear understanding of their vision. We work closely with them to define the project brief, identifying key drivers, milestones, and budget. This helps us establish a preliminary scope and deliverables (furniture, fixtures and fittings), and timeline, setting the foundation for a successful and aligned project execution.
*Biophilic and wellness design opportunities can be identified in this phase
-
In this phase, we present initial designs, including preliminary drawings, furniture and finish concepts, as well as material and color selections. We focus on shaping the overall aesthetic and atmosphere in alignment with the project brief, while solidifying the budget and schedule.
-
This phase focuses on refining the project concepts, where we carefully select specific materials, furniture, fixtures, and fittings. Collaborating with a trusted network of skilled artisans, craftspeople, and makers, we ensure every detail is thoughtfully chosen to achieve the best possible outcome.
-
This phase encompasses procurement to installation and final client handoff. Our team oversees and coordinates the entire process, ensuring seamless execution. We manage the delivery and installation of custom cabinetry, paint and specialty finishes, furnishings, fixtures and window treatments. We often integrate the client’s existing collection of art and objects to create a cohesive and personalized space.
-
To elevate design quality and maximize client satisfaction, we often evaluate the functionality of the space after clients have had the opportunity to experience it firsthand, making any necessary adjustments to ensure it fully meets their needs.
